Just caught this one the Bloomberg News YouTube Channel. Amazing how it can get off the ground!

The Antonov-225 Mriya is 275-feet long and has a wingspan the size of a football field. The Mriya attracted hundreds of spectators when it made an appearance in Minneapolis last week. Its load from Minnesota was reportedly air-conditioning units destined for the Middle East.

It would certainly be a very cool plane to see (or even ride in if one was ever given the chance). However to say it defies the laws of physics in a bit of a stretch. It very much follows the laws of physics, and it's designers had a very good grasp on those laws.

I thought it was going to be the Agents of SHIELD plane which DOES defy the laws of physics.
