SIN, NRT, HKG are in my good-books, and BNE Inter has impressed since their expansion.

Worst is SEA for sure, twice doing the NRT/SEA on UA have had delays so long, that it makes me think of claiming insurance on lost luggage............

Cheers Dee

Best international for me would be SIN,closely followed by HKG and BBK.
Worst international is LHR T3
Best domestic is CBR followed by ABX,I have actually found SYD to be reasonable on the last few trips there.
Worst is PER but HBA is also pretty awful,

Its probably a little unfair to be tagging this by airport, while their baggage systems are their responsibility, the airline and ground agents also make a big difference, after all I can hardly blame Sydney for my bag going to Narita with JQ rather than hopping off at SYD with me.

SIN is a standout because they have the one airline ground handler, SATS (AFAIK) that handles the baggage, so they have total control over the systems, by comparison at BNE you have AGH (owned by BNE airport), QF (Express Ground Handling), Toll Dnata, & Oceania to name a few.

My worst ever would have to go to Express at BNE International, I have had quite a few QF arrivals where the wait for bags has been close to two hours.

SIN actually has 2 ground handlers, SATS and CIAS. There also used to be Swissport but I think they've pulled out of SIN.

I stand corrected , DNata operate at SIN as well as the owner of CIAS! Thanks

SIN is generally very very quick.

Wish SYD is as good, so don't have to stand around and get sniffed at by those sniffer dogs!
