If I have a bunch of destinations in mind (ex BNE to San Fran, Texas, LA, Vancouver & Hawaii return), is there a way to work out in which order to put them in? It's frustrating trying to use the multi-stop page on the Qantas site only to keep getting errors with particular segments.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Very useful but unfortunately restricted to 5 flights (unless I'm missing some trick).

No, no trick as far as I know.

I doubt you would use it to actually book a 5+ stop itinerary on 1 ticket though, it's more to see what routes are possible, so breaking it up isn't such a problem.
Given the destinations, the best value for OP will most probably in separate bookings anyway.

Don't do your flights this way. Multi-City doesn't really mean what you think it does......it means open jaw of double open Jaw.

Just put in a multi-city fare like:

Sector 1: BNE-Dallas DFW
Sector 2: YVR-BNE
That's it.
Every single other flight just purchase as one-way fares.

Where in Texas are you flying to - DFW, IAH or elsewhere as not all airlines go to all cities. Also do the cities visited have to be visited in any particular order or are you flexible with what dates you are visiting those cities?

Some airfares permit you to have at least one free stopover on the ticket in addition to your point of turnaround however I don't know whether the cheapest USA airfares permit HNL due to the fact you'd have to interline with another carrier eg LAX/HNL.

It's probably a good idea to get a quote from a reputable TA and by reputable I don't mean the first TA chain that pops into your head as they can play around with different pricepoints. There may be some domestic sector fares that could be combinable with your international ticket which would then give you 2 pieces of luggage if they were issued on the intenational ticket.

Have you got any QF ff points to burn on any AA flights eg LAX/HNL?
