I'm usually ahead of the bot, but I've slipped a bit lately (over the past 14 days, me: 3.7, bot: 3.4, NYT average: 4.0).

I did a really deep analysis in September 2023 and settled on what I believe to be quite a good starting word. I've stuck with it since, even after it came up. I have about 100 different second words, depending on the first line result.

My current / best streak is 807, out of 1021 games played.

Don't forget there's the time-zone change trick that you can do, if you forget to do Wordle one day but it's still that day in Hawaii, for example. I actually do Wordle on a device that's set to UTC+13 so that I don't have to wait until midnight local time.

I don't usually post my daily efforts here, but FWIW, it took me 4 today.
Thank you for the Timezone trick, I didn’t know it worked on wordle. So silly to get sucked into streaks, but there you have it!
