Only a few days left but no might be of use to some. I guess useful if you shop at Woolworths. Even better if you have access to a Staff Card that's a $100 for $85.

Heh.
Earn both VFF and QFF points from more or less same transactions.
Funny that no one thought this one out "properly" from a loyalty point of view.

They've run the promotion with Virgin Cards several times . Being able to double dip (or triple dip if you pay by credit card) is just one of those things.

I reckon woolworths thinks about loyalty to woolworths, not qantas.

just the same as aI can pay for virgin flights with a qantas points earning credit card. The bank just wants me to buy things with the credit card...

It works on non wish gift cards, ie the third party ones. Have not tried Bigw as discount is now 10% there.

Wow. I will give it a crack today. Yes, BIGW is 10%. So that could mean a $20 return on $100 spend.

Swung by a BIGW before and tried and can confirm you get no discount at all on third party cards, tried JQ and VA ones (which were just normal standard full price at Bigw)

So it appears WOW only. Double wow days well who knows I’ll report back on the next one.

Thanks. Is there a cap on points for cards? I.e can I buy 5 $50 cards and get 1000 points per card?

I bought $1k worth no issue. But I used the $10 earth on the next card bought so did one per transaction.

No luck for me either.

Looks like WOW it is.

In this weekends junk mail it appears we have another offer
10% of Virgin Australia $100 Gift Card
BIGW, starts thur.
Heh!
Funny not as what you wrote, but more so the lack of thought processes there, alliances wise.
Big W is linked to Woolworths Rewards, which is linked to QF.
Big W selling VA vouchers, meaning, you are in fact earning twice in 2 different FF programs.
Big W probably is just more interested in getting our $100 worth of dosh, but if I was someone in QF, I would have brought this to someone's higherup's attention.
Of course its not illegal, but there is something there.
And yet Woolworths Rewards can't be earnt on prepaid mobile phone recharges.
I have written to Brad B at Woolworths about my disdain for the fat that there is a lack of points earnings on prepaid mobile phone recharges.
400 WW points for spending $40 or more at BigW, I could easily spend that on prepaid mobile phone recharges.

Neither the card partner nor the merchant will care as they just want the sales and the uplift during bonus points promotions is generally quite high. Qantas might mind but they don't really have a leg to stand on as the WW$ points are not exclusively redeemed for QFF points.

BIGW/WOW also Myer/JB cards etc which I find more strange as they are nothing but fierce competitors especially JB/Bigw

This weekend Junk Mail has BIGW and $100 Virgin gift card, and gain 2000 WOW dollars ($10). Starts thur
