Me too. Was getting about 40k of points a year but only shopped at Woolies for the EDR QFF points. IGA is closer by 5Km and there is a First Choice Liquor on the corner.

Haven't had any offers since the program is supposed to finish at the end of the year.

Ditched Safeway (Woolworths Pty Ltd!) Early last month or so. All because my fuel points were not transferred over the previous month or more. (Kept receipts, even have a fuel logbook: to the decimal litre!).

They manually provided 750 qff (more then I knew i was missing), but that was the straw.

Fuel is now BP (just now building bp points up), shopping at coles from now on.

Points in the 100's or 1000's each week for so little spend!

Edit: might add - photo below also had triple points voucher as well as spend $50 over 3 weeks.

I love that the points are almost instantaneous and that it tells you your balance on each receipt.

Woolies had a lot to learn in the respect!

Since the Coles rep came on board on AFF, I have noticed the service from the Flybuys program has been top notch.

In the last 10 days, the andyes have spent about $900 in Coles group and received just over 6000 FBs. This is a big change considering we would ordinarily spend less than $100 before the WW announcement.
My impression is that Coles is a bit cheaper on the things we buy which is good as we don't have 5% WISH e-gift cards for Coles. Coles would win hands-down if it wasn't for that.

The only place I can find discounted e-gift cards for Coles is for AGL customers only. I don't like the nuisance-value of physical giftcards (particularly as I am forgoing Plat Edge bonus points). Does anyone know any other avenues?

I don't know of any easy ways of getting discounted Coles cards. At one point there was an online seniors club (over 50) which offered Coles cards at a 5% discount but there were costs involved which would probably put the actual saving between 3 and 4%.

I find that I save a higher percentage at Coles with flybuys bonuses than I do at Woolworths with WW loyalty bonuses(even taking into consideration the 5% discounted Wish cards).

My company benefits scheme is now offering 5% discounted Coles gift cards (physical not electronic). This is run by Reward Gateway/Asperity so anyone who has a similar scheme may have a similar offering.

Clearly Woolworths have engaged the same consultants who designed Simple and Fairer.

Ambassador card and Its associated professional associations have access. Mrs Excel has access via her profession's national body. Credit card fee and Mastercard and visa only, and has fees, but is still 3-4% off on the whole

Edit: Login page has list of associations.

I just visited Woolworths for the third time since they brought in the new program.

Still haven't earned a single cent worth of itchy & scratchy money.
I've also now been 3 times $160 to $180 each visit... And have earned the princely sum of 46cents. Waiting to see if my points appear in the QFF account as promised!!

The classic example goes that analysis of late night shopping patterns (in the US) threw up an odd combination of nappies and beer in some supermarkets. Turned out that men running out for new nappies at night that had to walk past beer to get them were making incremental purchases of beer. Hence, some supermarkets would be redesigned so that you had to walk past beer to get nappies.

So you had to walk past the p*ss to get something that holds p*ss, whereas Woolies is just p*ssing us off.

So just to be clear do I get points with old card until 31dec or do I have to activate this new card? No points new card right.

There's nothing to activate. It's the same number / barcode, so it doesn't make any difference. You'll continue to receive QFF points until the end of the year, and might collect a few Itchy and Scratchy cents along the way.

I just went to woolies this afternoon and it appears that they might slowly getting it. They had frozen meals down to $5 and then earn 1.49 in woolies dollars on top. Coles also had the same frozen meals down to $5, so it appears supplier had marked down to both stores. So it appears woolies put the extra on top. I know see woolies dollars similar to flybuys, when get to certain level you can get money off the future shop. Thats how I currently use flybuys, and that how i will use woolies dollars. I wont deliberately purchase things with dollars on, but if they add dollars to items on sale, that you use, then it makes some sense. Still unhappy about qantas points but if thats what the situation we now face, I will just use it to the best I can. Still will shift more reg shops to coles.

Provided the catalogue is correct, there is a microwave popcorn product this week which has a certain amount of Woolworths dollars on it. It's a really good deal provided that you love microwave popcorn and have a good use for it. See page 9 of the catalogue that started today for details.

I can't say that I'm mad for popcorn, but given the activity on AFF, people might think it wise to stock up :)

At my local Woolies it was $1, after 71 cents discount, and came with 25 itchy and scratchy cents.

I must have missed something in the initial release, but Cellarmasters will no longer earn QFF after Dec 31 as well.
