a complex issue. If they followed the UK's National Physical Laboratory's advice they would've used 24:00 Wednesday, or 00:00 Thursday.

The problem with saying Midnight Wednesday, is that some people take it be the start ow Wednesday and others take it to be the end of Wednesday. I generally interpret it as the latter, but it would be best not to use the confusing language at all...

It works for my interpretation of the times as listed.

i.e. starts AM Thursday morning and finishes at the end of PM on Friday night.

I agree, but if a competetion runs 18/19, it would be best not to use the 17th anywhere

12 midnight is on the preceding day

so midnight 17 May means that it starts at 11.59+1 minute 17th and ticks over to 12.00.01 18th one second after midnight

Land a Qantas Voucher every 30 minutes but T&Cs state: Draw: All 96 draws will be conducted at 2.00pm (AEST) on 23 May 2017.... so what is it?!

Why can't they use the military convention where the time of 0000 does not exist? It's either 2359 or 0001. No problem.

Well a lot of airlines will schedule the departure/arrival for 11.59pm or 12.01 am to avoid this exact confusion

I previously had this option selected, does that mean I am ineligible? Or is it open to every member who has chosen to convert their Woolworths Dollars to Qantas points, no matter when they made that decision?
