Woolworths gift card thread

Are you using the physical card or converting them into digital gift cards? They're more likely to be accepted in digital form but they still won't work at as many places as the TCN Restaurant gift cards for the reasons mentioned above.
Thanks for this.

I converted my physical Good Food GC to digital and used it at one of the restaurants where the physical card had been rejected. Went through without an issue. However, i think I'll stick with the restaurant cards in future.
I have now converted some cards with smallish balances to digital (Google Pay) - it that work OK, then I'll do some others as it may be easier to use NFC/paywave rather than swipe and pin.

I was able to convert some PUB and BAR cards as well.
So when you converted them, did they end up as one larger amount or did they remain as individual amounts?

As part of Woolies EOFY offers, there is a 3% discount on Your Pick Gift Cards from 1-30 June. Minimum purchase of $200 applies, and you can only do it once in the month. Can be purchased through the Everyday Gifting website or through the Rewards app. There's about 40 non-Woolies brands you can exchange these cards for.

Effectively buying Qantas points at 1.2c/p plus the risk of hacking, with a limit of $3500 (5 per day per account) totalling 17500 points for $208

I don't drink alcohol but imagine that the Qantas wine promos are competitive with this?

Agree

Yes, the wine deals can be good

12 bottles for $500 with 25,000 + points, and the wine can be quite good

I agree this is a poor offer, but I need roughly 10k points before June 30 to trigger one last round of PC.

The Woolies bonus point offers have been dreadful and I don’t need more wine, so I’ll accept a less than ideal return this time.

But how to liquidate quickly? Can these cards still be used for purchases at that big store in Canberra?

Sadly no go for ACT with the visa and MC
Utilities, insurances, rates are my usual disposition as I dont like using them piecemeal. Many health insurances can be paid in advance
I agree Points Club can shift the value position enough. Also potential extra fraction of an Amex MR point with Edge

Separate to this thread but have you looked at the Sniip offer? They award the points the day after you meet the requirements.
