Not sure you'll be able to use the Home Improvement card (which is the only variable card pictured in the advertisement) at a supermarket.

The more I read the T&Cs the harder it is to be precise but my best attempt at reading them is that none of the variable cards listed in the T&C at the bottom attract a fee (so I was wrong about the Home Improvement & DIY attracting the fee), but I don't see any variable card except the Home Improvement & DIY being covered by this promo.

So if I'm interpreting it right, it's the only variable card involved, it has no fee and as a result you couldn't use it at Supermarkets as it's only for a specific merchant code. Happy if anyone else has a better reading because the more I look at the details the more I find it hard to follow exactly which cards are in-scope for the promo.

Acquired 4 x $100 Visa Green + 1 Visa Home Improvement loaded to $500 in the one transaction......
Used Everyday Pay with sufficient Woolworths gift cards pre-loaded and presented app at a standard serviced counter - No Luck. Payment Method not accepted (did not default to credit card, system just would not accept that method).
Used standard credit card to pay, all good, 4,000 points immediately credited for Green Cards....... Home Improvement, came through with no $5.95 fee and no points awarded.......it came through as 10% off gift card promotion, so it only cost $450......

Usually impossible to pay for GCs with WISH or other WW GCs any more (still sad after all these years).

I didn't see a card fee for the Home Improvement on the packaging so a good option for someone planning to spend big at Bunnings-even better if it's 10% off rather than $25 worth of EDR/Qantas points

I also got the same offer, but as noted the best deal, which is 1400 points ($7) off $200 or 3.5%, is slightly less than the 4% discount offered via motoring clubs (I use NRMA) or other similar programs (SDA members get the same deal). I don't think it's targeted, it comes up on this link without requiring any login: https://giftcards.woolworths.com.au/spendoffer/c/spendoffer .

I did use the previous offer as it's a WISH card which I can use at Big W, BWS, etc, but probably won't use this one as I still have plenty left on that card. The 4% off deal is only for supermarkets, so if you only use this for non-Supermarket purchase you are ahead by a tiny amount against the 3% for WISH cards trhough NRMA/RACQ/etc.

I bought a $250 GC yesterday this way, but the points didn't hit my account overnight. I know the T&C's say it can take longer, but usually things are are processed overnight if not faster. Here's hoping this works, as I had to forgo the discount I would have otherwise gotten through NRMA.

Just FYI, my post above is referring to a purchase on 26 July for the previous offer (1500 points off $250 GC purchased through the app). These points didn't credit until 17 August, about three weeks later. Hopefully they can speed this up.
