Its not to my choice (looks too much like a bikini or bra) but its not indecent.

Shes young and beautiful - if people are upset by shoulders and a bit of side skin then they are going to be shocked when they get to their destination (which I think was Spain).

well that photo is a bit more revealing, so I guess it could be toned down a bit, my question is what would be the treatment of an Aussie Bloke flying to or from Bali in his Bintang singlet, thongs and shorts? not to mention the female versions?

They should have thrown off the man who shouted, "shut up woman". He is the inappropriate one.

Slippery slope. You can choose not to look at her. But how about smelly people where you have no choice but to smell. Or obese people who infringe into your space. Or during Ramadan people are served alcohol on ME planes. Why pick on this girl?

I thought it was a bra
Well these days tops are cut so low and revealing that you can see them in full anyway. In my day even to show a strap was a fashion faux pas. But seriously there are far worse things on planes than that. Like dirty smelly feet in thongs.

With all the problems facing us in the World today this even rates a mention? Seriously?

Being young fit healthy and partaking in life is now a crime? Seriously?

Let me check the calendar - 2019 - yep I thought that is where we were!

As mentioned, it is a very slippery slope and views right across the spectrum, but for me I have always felt to dress around the "smart casual" mark. Maybe its because i use lounges or how your flying, but i just think its a bit of respect for the airport/airlines/staff etc. Even on those rare things called holidays, I still dress i think respectable, even with shorts.

Some of the things I've seen recently in BKK et al. are even "worse" (maybe the word "less" is a better fit) than the girl in the original story.

There's always got to be a line between wearing nothing and wearing something. Wherever you draw the line, you'll have complaints.

I've heard there are places in Bangkok where the women don't wear anything, where have you been visiting @leadman?

I seem to remember other women wearing their underwear at public events.

.

Would they have thrown Madonna off a flight?

When I was working in a beachside hospital in the early 2000s, medical staffing had to issue an edict banning crop tops among the (mostly UK-trained) residents and interns.
Any complaints seemed to be from families worried about their elderly parents' blood pressure
