What she wore is fine for a British holiday airline. Wouldn’t be appropriate when flying on, for example, Royal Brunei or Saudia .....

Thomas Cook, no less. :)

Edit: It's just that bra thing. Maybe it's common there?

The sign outside the BNE lounge precinct on lounge dress guidelines has a cross against "head to toe gymwear" and he could be a real life model for this...

It’s the side (man) cough glimpses which just make eating my breakfast even more delight.
Mind you add Mr Shouty (wandering about sharing his riveting conversation with everyone) an interesting time in the lounge this morning

Who cares what any of these people are wearing?

Where do you draw the line though? What if someone sitting next to you on the plane was wearing a mankini? :D

I would draw it somewhere here:

Person with clothes on (whatever those clothes may be)
----Line----
.
.
.
Mankini

:)

I don’t care that she wore that on a plane (although I might think that girl would catch a cold in the chilly aircon) ..however the airline does care and sets the rules.

The incident held up the plane for 20 minutes while she at first refused to put on a jacket offered by her friend and turned to ask the other passengers what they thought... so I can understand the frustration of the passenger the yelled out “Just put on the f——— jacket”.

She has had her 15 minutes of fame as this “appearance on The Morning Show” attests, with Emily resisting attempts to show the back of the Zara bralette...it’s not a crop top.

I could not care less what anyone wears on a plane. I choose to be decent, probably conservative but each to their own.

As for old mate in the J lounge......I really struggle that this is acceptable yet ladies in skirt/top combo looking presentable all over but God forbid they wear anything resembling thongs.....turned away!

So be it, I pass no judgement, but we are now posting pictures of people in the lounge and what they are wearing? It's not the first time I have seen this in a discussion thread on this subject here too. I find it wrong and I will call it out if I see it.

I do not care what other people are wearing and I'll let the airline deal with policing their policies, just as I am not going to weigh your bags nor call you out on it. If she held up a plane and made a scene, she can expect some noteriety, fair enough.

My friend was told that the quality leather thongs, slide type shoe that she was wearing into the Qantas Club for a domestic flight to Perth to Proserpine was unacceptable.

She searched the airport shops and found a pair of those cheapie $20 soft slippers with sequins, that cover the whole foot ...and that was OK !

As a red blooded male, I have no problem with the appearance. What irks me is the bare oily sweaty back up against the seat.. who wants to share that.. no thanks.

We all think differently but I don't understand why anyone would dress like this in public. Too revealing.

And while we're at it the skirts that end up being sold as loose, high cut shorts revealing g-strings and flesh around the groin area. How has that become acceptable?
