Thanks @RB. We always enjoy Japan. One of the very specific highlights for me was the one on one time with ShelleyB-son, while he still enjoys spending time with me.

@ShelleyB thanks for taking the time the report on Japan, your pictures were great. I always like TRs to Japan as we have been there quite a few times and know we will go there again. When reading the TRs I may think to myself I have been there but missed that or a case of haven't been there and it is a place that would be of interest and may put it on the list for the next trip. As an aside have you ever considered a few days/side trip to Okinawa, it was a place I had thought about but never really bothered about. In 2024 MissN (a young woman) wanted to go and I gave in as I figured - well we are Japan and it is just a domestic flight. I am glad we went as it is still Japan but very different, those that have been will most likely know what I am talking about and there is a bit to see.

Hi @ShelleyB and echoing Noah's remarks above, your report has joined my bookmarked "Japan ToDo" list. We have not managed to visit at all but are super-keen to try a ski trip first and hopefully that will happen this year. Really enjoyed your writing style and excellent photographs. Yes we would love to go there too. Next trip will likely concentration on Kyushu, but if not then will definitely go some other time. Still Hokkaido to visit too.
