Here now and an epiQure wine tasting machine has been installed opposite the cold food buffet. You purchase taste amounts by swiping your FF card in the machine.

I was chatting to "Malcom" someone official from QF who stated that it had been opened last night at 5pm and the majority of glasses purchased were Grange :D
At 2500 pts for 25ml or 6500 for 75ml it could be rather expensive to have one too many ;)

Can you pay cash?

I wonder if there is a bar on using your under 18 child's card?

No you can't, points only.
I don't think you could use an under 18 card as when you push it in it comes up with your QFF balance and presumably knows account details
( I had a glass of one of the cheaper options for reference purposes  ;) )

Mrs eric will be the lounge tonight, wont worry me as I just raided her QF points and did a family transfer

Does anyone know how these machines work?

I can't imagine that there is a large cask of grange in the back of the machine with a tube connected to the dispensing spout?

Or is there a dozen bottles all on a long line connected to the dispensing spout?

Just curious really.

Each bottle has its own dispensing spout

The wine comes from the bottles that you can see through the front of the machine (see the photo in the original post).

Oh, so they have someone constantly change the bottles as they run out?

Seen people walk up and look but haven't seen anyone purchase yet. Anyone know how popular these are?

Why would I use 2500 point for a mouthful when I can take a few more steps and fill my glass for no points.

Matt

Looks a bit like my fridge. Without the Grange and need for points spend...
