Wine as checked baggage on QF

This is what you need - a bubble wrap wine bottle holder & if the worst happens & it breaks, the wine won't escape from the bag. Yeah I use one of those for wine I take when travelling HLO.

10 dozen cases at $60 (Aust Post) per case is $7200. (10 x 12 cases)

I'm pleased to report that my case of wine was successfully transported by QF... just!

The large hole you see in the carton wasn't there when the carton was checked in DRW. It was just good luck that the side of the carton was facing me on the baggage carousel or things may have ended differently.

So after this near failure I’m taking another dozen bottles to Brisbane tomorrow. The long way. DRWxASPxMEL-BNE.

Here’s hoping this case doesn’t end up looking like the last one.
