Simply transfer your Coles flybuys points to Velocity by 30 April 2017 for your chance to win 1 of 5 lifetime passes to the Virgin Australia Lounge.

You will receive one entry for every flybuys point you transfer, the more you transfer the more chances you have to win!

Email was targetted but no mention of any registration other than the transfer. Shame no 15% bonus but that may be a bit greedy.

Hmmm don't think you can take a guest in for this kind of pass? Looks like I need to try and win one for the wife as well!

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Quote "Total prize pool is $48,750" for five lifetime lounge passes, in other words valuing the LT passes at $9,750 each. This was the same as the price when the LT lounge was launched in 2011. No inflation in six years ... hard to inflate an already over inflated price !

Yours. Most likely too, that the lifetime access will cease on your demise, and will not be transferable to family.
VA/VFF charges a bit under Aud$10k for life time access to the "lounge".
So who ever ends up winning this, half of the $10k would have been Coles supermarket spends over many years, and then half will be worth $5k.

It is a regular lounge membership with the added bonus of self service entry... That means you are entitled to bring one guest over the age of 12 and two guests between the ages of 2-12, children under 2 are free

I must say though, that FB must be quite desperate to keep as much money going to them, by us spending our grocery money with Coles and there by FB, and also the money that VFF pays FB for transfering FB points to VFF.
Considering eg, recently, I got an email, spend $100 and get 1500 FB points, my AGL bills earn me FB points, and not long when 2000 FB points have been accumulated. Transfer this to VFF and get 870 VFF points.
I can see why some will say, that all this ways of earnings does dilute the system. Earning VFF points/SC without flying, not saying WWR is not doing the same thing of course, mind you.
Best of luck to the winner, if they turn out to be one of our colleagues, or someone else outside AFF.

At least its still impossible to earn status without some time in the air.. When they start giving platinum out if you spend X amount of dollars at coles we need to worry

Erm, VFF doesn't pay Flybuys when points are converted: Flybuys wipes the liability of holding those Flybuys points on its books by purchasing Velocity points for the member instead.

(Consider the process of swapping 2000 Flybuys points for a $10 shopping voucher instead: you get that voucher and use it to pay the business where you're spending that reward, such as Coles, with the money coming from Flybuys. Same deal with points: convert 2000 Flybuys to Velocity and Flybuys buys you 870 Velocity points direct from VFF, which would have an internal 'cost' to Flybuys of $10 or less to match the pricing of the alternate option in grocery rewards.)
