Hey guys, so I've just been upgraded to SG recently but prior to that, I've made quite a few flight reservations for the upcoming months. So my question is, when I'm on those flights, will I be flying as a silver or gold member? Thanks for all your help...

You will be whatever your status is at the time the flight closes after boarding.

However, with the difference between Silver and Gold seat selection, you may want to re-log-in online and select better seats as they become available to your new status tier.

I'll be flying on a 787 to Hong Kong however I can't see any difference in seat selections, i.e. rows 40-42 are still blocked, coz maybe they're reserved for Platinum members?

You will travel as Gold.

Golds do not see much difference in seat access prior to T-80 when all bets are off. P1 and WP get better seat access.

If within QF you *should* be recognised as Gold. If you have any bookings with partners there is anecdotal evidence that the status at time of booking can remain for flight if no further changes are made to the booking.

Regards,

BD

Thanks for all your replies. I've had a look at my bookings and they've already updated the status on the booking page.
