Hi,

I am wishing to book an award flight for myself and someone else.

There is a flight with one seat available in Business class and one seat available in first class. I don't mind using the points for these, but I would prefer we were seated together. Do you think if at checkin I request for both of us to be in business class, they will do so?

Unfortunately I can't answer your question, but (assuming you're talking about QFF) if you're a Platinum, you can sometimes request a seat to be made available for award booking - ie: a second business class seat.

Good luck either way. :)

Cheers,
- Febs.

I would be very surprised if they didnt let you.

Alternatively, I'm sure the J passenger would be happy to switch to your F seat - provided the crew let you switch.
