Trying to book online via the Qantas site tickets one way
BKK to SYD. It seems I need to front up to the Bangkok office within 2 days.
Something to do with credit card fraud. Seems no issue to book one way from Singapore to Sydney.
Can do that no problem. Qantas why why why???

Qantas will let you book BKK/SYD through the Thai website, but have this requirement to show your credit card at the BKK office.
It has been highlighted here a few times. Many arguments about whether it should be necessary or not.
However I understand it is the requirement.
So you will need to work round it. Others may have some suggestions in that regard, or you can do a search.

I booked a ticket from BKK to SYD and eventhough they say they cancel after two days I called them and said I would be in BKK a couple of months later and they just held the booking for me.
