Thats because these flights to and from EnZed are operated by JetConnect .... on NZ registered aircraft

Pfft very funny how it's always people like you, trying to get something they haven't paid for, who condone this kind of behaviour. Stay back in Y and use what you have paid for, I bet you are the kind of sad soul that sits at a lounge entrance begging to get in when you aren't entitled to.I don't recall any advertising and marketing for J that mention J toilets are reserved for J passengers.
When did J passengers get the expectations that waiting for toilets is not a J thing?
If the Y passengers are told at the beginning that the main cabin toilets are at the rear and then later they come to the front and the CSM does not stop them, then that can be assumed to be tacit permission to use the front toilets.
As I said before I have used F,W,Y toilets when J (and J when Y). So I am very happy for Y passengers to come up to use J toilets. Did not get a finger wag from CSM ot cabin crew either.
I suspect that this continues because very few actually complain about this and also the PB non-issue. QF has been known to change dress code on the basis of customer feedback about the lounges. but the non action in this matter maybe points to the fact that very few see it as an issue.
Spot on well said !Funny how the Y pax who do it are fine with it but the J pax who put up with it aren't. My opinion? Don't care what your status is. I don't care if you're P1 because your boss flies you away every week. On my flight, if you haven't paid J then you shouldn't get J. Simple as that.
Yes that's exactly what it was ,stop trying to church it upNo it's not and you know it.
@MEL_Traveller goes as far as saying economy passengers should think about going to the toilet in the terminal just in case they need to go when the food cart is out and not disturb the entitled sitting at the front.
Its just a toilet.
The alternative is this...
Could be right and I always use the area I am assigned, just half asleep on this occasion. But also this could be due to Boeing placing signs near all toilets as airlines decide the fit out or a need to be flexible later. Signage that day indicated one free and one occupied and was the case when entering. Anyway my mistake but uptight Qantas steward carried on.The sign is likely connected to the WC in the rear of the business class cabin, rather than the forward cabin (same same in economy, where the bulkhead WC signs actually refer to those furhter back, not forward).
Old stuff. Yep its the DYKWIAersIt is becoming quite clear who the culprits of this 'offence' are....
Don’t worry about me, I have entry entitlement and when I don’t its no biggie as the non-lounge scene is often better.Pfft very funny how it's always people like you, trying to get something they haven't paid for, who condone this kind of behaviour. You're wrong. MANY see this as an issue. When I pay business class fares, I expect to have a better loo experience. If I were in economy I would not act entitled to anything in business class. It detracts from others' experience in J and I encourage you to think about others' rights as well as your own.I don't recall any advertising and marketing for J that mention J toilets are reserved for J passengers.

Poor Quickstatus, your low self esteem is showing. You're trying to make J pax look bad for paying for a service, while you don't have the funds to pay and so sit at the back and throw stones. I'm embarrassed for you, but I'm giving you the free psychological advice anyway (you said you wanted something for nothing).Again - what rule?
You will find no written rule about this anywhere.
Most intra cabin “rules” such as this one fall within the “obey cabin crew instructions” rule. They make up whatever rules they want. Obviously some rules are defined or regulated by a higher authority. However it is also within the gift of the CSM to change those rules.
I don’t know why a Y passenger disturbs a J passenger meal service when a J passenger using the toilet does not. Must be the “great unwashed” smell.

How do you know I don’t pay for J (cash or points). As I said, better loo experience is not a stated benefit on any airline. You may expect it but be prepared to be disappointed.Poor Quickstatus, your low self esteem is showing.
