Why OH Y? [Y PAX using J lavatories]

Did long haul back with QF on 737 from Bali. Another fantastic crew that policed the J toilet intrusion with a vengeance. The announcement was that the toilets at the rear of the aircraft are for passengers seated in rows 4 to 30 and the toilets at the front are exclusively for Business passengers only. Not one incursion to J area for whole flight. Cart and no carts was not an issue. Was told by crew that something will be coming back to divide J from Y due to overwhelming complaints I guess. Perhaps a rope like VA. OMG what are the DYKWIAers that sit in row 4 going to do if that happens.
sounds good - appears like qantas will make this a consistent policy across flights

It seems that this syndrome is not exclusive to QF Y pax; last night on SQ227 SIN-MEL the lady behind me in J decided that she couldn't wait for a J toilet and snuck into F to use the toilets there; for her pains she was politely but firmly ticked off by the FA's.

Just completed 2 x J flights with brilliant crew who kept Y pax from using J cabin facilities,
The CSM announcement was made regarding position of toilets for each cabin and the DYKWIA were kept at bay.
Great work by the crew who mentioned it had been a constant problem since the curtain was removed.

IN my experience the DYKWIAers seem to be the biggest offenders.

There was a very specific announcement on my QF dom 737 flight this week. "For rows 4-30 there are 2 toilets at the rear of the cabin". Nothing was announced about any forward toilet.

Yes same specific row # announcement on my most recent flights - but with toilet at the front for our passengers travelling Business Class also stated.
