I don't think following up with QF re the lounge attendant is worthwhile. you culd have always mentioned it directly with her at the time if you had a problem (perhaps jokingly mentioned the 'hard sell'). Why get someone into trouble?

Perhaps you are right. It did seem, though, to be taking advantage of the position to promote an unrelated (to QF) business.

As I don't eat seafood I have never tried it; however I have seen others enjoying it, if that counts?

I used to love it from when these MEL and Sydney lounges opened in 2007.

However, in early 2009 (IIRC) I had some in SYD that was off¹ and I have not been game to touch it since.


¹ As in obviously off, from taste (!) and then smell - euggh - I sent it back and advised them :-|

It actually tasted like mushroom soup too. Definitely no tinned stuff there!
