Why do I have 12 Domestic Lounge passes? (hypothetically of course)

Let's say I rarely look at lounge passes because I am Gold but I do recall this year I received 2 passes from a Qantas Amex and 2 Domestic Business passes from the Qantas Goodwill offer. During the year I did gift three of these off to family members.

When I login today to gift the remaining one pass off to a relative I can see I have 12 passes sitting there, 11 of which are Domestic Business passes with expiry up to Oct 2023.

Any tips on what unknown consumer behaviour I did to generate these?

Did you make points club? That should give you two General passes.

Otherwise though, to my knowledge you can only get DBL passes from Qantas from their "Apology" thing in August. That was the first time anyone had ever seen a DBL pass, and to my knowledge, no other issuances of DBL passes have occurred since then. That should've given two though...

Additionally, if you only had 1 extra General Pass than expected, then there aren't many places where you can get a single general pass. To my knowledge only Silver renewal grants one pass. Credit Cards and Points Club always grant passes in pairs (to my knowledge), so I'm unsure how this hypothetical person could end up with an odd number of extra General Passes and DBL passes.

well seems like you can be a very generous person indeed! :D

QF glitch in your favour perhaps. They're rare, but they can happen. I'd keep quiet and do with them what you will - hypothetically of course :)
