I did not know it existed, bit certainly wont be loading an .ics files on a random basis.

FWIW, such should simply load into outlook.

It's the first time I've noticed it as well. I've tried, but when I open the file it just seems to do nothing. I can't find anything in Outlook that looks like it might be a HH reminder (but I'm at home where I still use Office 2003)!

Ah, I tried again and got an error message this time. The only trouble I have now, is that I don't speak Martian! Can anyone elaborate on what the heck it's talking about?

"This error can appear if you have attempted to save a recurring Lunar appointment in iCalendar format.
To avoid this error, set the appointment option to Gregorian instead of Lunar

Not totally random basis. It came from the new Great Getaway Sale page from HH. If you have a look at that sale, it's a link on the same line as the social media links (just above the row of destination tabs and says "Download promo calendar (ICS)".

Just downloaded that file, I have a Mac, and it opened up straight away and placed an event into my calendar, for the sale on September 30th. So maybe it's an Apple Mac file?

Is it only for the one day, then, or does it just start then?
