Who else still holds the Citibank Free For Life Premier Card?

Both have individual Premier accounts CFFL.
So where can I get the codes now Citibank website is closed to us?
Mycard website is useless and I dread having to call them for it?
Do I email Priority pass?

I don't want to reset password....just yet but heading that way on second family account.

So City is Melbourne, Brisbane not the suburb?

Good point about holding off both accounts same day but needs to be setup now....

One down...one to go
Edit: Put the Suburb under City....

Have 2x Citibank FFL cards.

Card 1. Have created Mycard online account to pay bills. Priority pass account updated via Mycard code.

Card 2. Not created Mycard online account.
Updating Priority pass in 4 days.

Card 2. Is an individual card that is attached "linked" to Card 1 for Bill payments.... can see transactions on Card 1. statement.

Has anyone else created a Card 2. Mycard online account.
There is still no fee to have the bill for both accounts via the one statement?
Creating a Card 2 online account will not stuff up the current arrangement?
Any one got the same setup and transitioned... seeking feedback please.

The information I have is that originally 2 separate CFFL accounts.
Linked card 2 to card 1 account....
Still get access to 2 priority pass each.
Did not receive emails for card 2 to migrate to NAB?

So this is a supplementary card?

Citi didn't charge annual fee for supplementary Premier card.

This doesn't make sense. You can't link two different accounts into one account. They are either separate accounts, or just one account.

Citi Premier only give Priority Pass to primary card holders, not supplementary card holders.

Did Citi generate separate statements for each of them every month?

So I found a Citi FFL card that expired 2023
It has same name but different number to card expirying 2027.(this is linked card.)
If this still was/is an individual card would the credit card numbers need to be the same?

As the current card is different and linked could it be a supplementary card?
Other than ringing Mycard.... if I attempt to use Citi FFL priority pass code will it charge the fee or by not accepting code on sign up....I will know if supplementary?

Edit: So looked up account with card 1 and shows card 2 with same available limit... so thinking linked.
Will they get 2x Free priority pass access by adding code?

So I think he link them but they both had 2x priority pass access that I believe neither paid.
If primary one dies the other will lose access to credit card? All because they did not want to pay two off accounts every month 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Are we 100% certain suplimentary does not have 2x Free Priority pass access?

Citi was / is one of the few banks where they issue supplementary cards with an individual different card number, so you can identify who made a purchase.

For example, a wife may apply and get approved for a Citi Premier, and the card number ends with 1111. She trusts her husband enough, so she askes for a supplementary card for her husband. Citi would issue a card to the husband with a card number ending 2222.

The statement at the end of the month would be printed in this format:

Card Number 5555 5555 5555 1111
Dec 24 Myer 100
Dec 25 Easipay Payment -10

Card Number 5555 5555 5555 2222
Dec 23 Human Rights Watch Sydney Au 20

In this case, husband paid $20 to Human Rights Watch, but it is coming from wife's account, wife's credit limit, wife is the one who would be chased by Citi.

This is different from most banks in Australia, where they would just issue cards to everyone using the same card number (Bankwest is one).

I have just checked a statement from MyCard, and it would now separate the transactions in this format:

Primary Card Number: M1111
25/12/25 25/12/25 Easipay Payment $10.00 Cr

Card Number: M2222
24/12/25 23/12/25 Human Rights Watch Sydney Au $20.00 Dr

NAB is now just printing the last 4 digits of a card number, instead of Citi printing the whole 16 digits.

As the current card is different and linked could it be a supplementary card?

There is no such thing as linking, so you should not use the word 'link'. An account can have multiple cards, each card belongs to an account. Cards cannot just be linked or delinked from an account.

If I don't know what is a deck of cards doing, I would cross check the card numbers on the cards against PDF statements from Citi, or MyCard (old Citi statements are available for download from MyCard web site).

Other than ringing Mycard.... if I attempt to use Citi FFL priority pass code will it charge the fee or by not accepting code on sign up....I will know if supplementary?

Just sign up, it will tell you. Also, after logging into Priority Pass, check what it says.

For example, Westpac allow both the primary cardholder and their +1 to go into the lounge, so when I log into my Priority Pass tied to my Westpac, I get this message:

Your membership plan includes:
2 inclusive member and accompanying guest visits in each membership year (each person uses one inclusive visit). Any additional member or guest visits will be charged directly to the payment card associated with your account at a rate of US$35 per person per visit.
Your membership refreshes DD Mmm YYYY

But when I log into my Priority Pass given to me by Citi, it shows:

Your membership plan includes:
2 inclusive member visits per membership period. Any additional member visits will be charged directly to the payment card associated with your account at a rate of US$35 per visit.
All visits for accompanying guests will be charged directly to the payment card associated with your account at a rate of US$35 per person per visit.
Your membership refreshes DD Mmm YYYY

You can try. I mean, there is no cost to join Priority Pass.

If primary one dies the other will lose access to credit card?

Credit card is not the only problem. There are plenty of reports of people losing access to money and phone and internet because one of their partners die and they were too enthusiastic to tell Telstra or their bank. Telstra would disconnect the phone and internet because the account holder is dead, while banks would often freeze the bank accounts then wait for instructions from lawyers executors. This lead to the surviving partner with no phone no internet and no cash to put food on table.

So if the primary cardholder dies, don't tell the bank straight away, just stop using it, update all the direct debits, pay it off, do an orderly wind down, then just close the credit card account via internet banking without giving any reasons. Don't tell the bank that someone or anyone died.

And of course, if the wife is the owner of the credit card account and she's dead, the husband can't just keep using it for the next 20 years while pretending she's still around ......

Are we 100% certain suplimentary does not have 2x Free Priority pass access?

Yes, it's on MyCard web site, under section "2. Priority Pass (MyCard Premier)" in the small print:

One complimentary digital Priority Pass™ Standard Membership, with two complimentary lounge visits, for the primary cardholder is a Special Feature of the MyCard Premier Credit Card

Only 1 card per visit per primary cardholder will be accepted and at point of registration

Also, spot the differences between the messages I get from Priority Pass above, the differences between my PP from Westpac and PP from Citi.

Hi Chicken your information is exactly where I'm at trying to workout current situation with Citi/Mycard account and CFfL

So definitely had Two credit card that had separate billing. Have an old printed statement to confirm.
One account deleted all their history emails of Citi statements.
Told due to being annoyed with having to pay two accounts entry month that got both accounts on one statement and all reward points go to one person.
Looking at statement it shows what you describe and only one limit.
I have ensured they had own priority pass card then app on each phone.
The one in question expired in 2023.
They have not used it for years and therefore not tested or charged.
So Primary card updated "new" priority pass. account created.
Shows on app 2 visits available.
I thought until your information they could use the one app to both get in lounge at same time.
I have purchased two lots of food on same day in domestic airport.
Is it $36 or $44AU now?

So will now create second account using different credit card number and name and expiry date, with CFFL(MY CARD CODE) and if it shows 2x passes on app then will not get charged?
Or it will not create priority account as is shown on primary card statement(now linked, joined or seen as supplementary card????)

I remember when they did use in the past via app each used via each phone at same time to get in.
Not two in with one app scan.
I did think a guest could go with same time via app that would use two passes in fine print via Citi?

Created second account and updated app on second phone and shows 2 Free passes...
It actually says the account created yesterday...even though created now.

Bought a Pixel 8 pro and seems that a warranty issue to be followed up. How does this work with my card..... anyone had any experience?

I have received points for some, but only 1PPD instead of 2 as it should be, and was before. Another payment got zero points, and previously got 2PPD with Citi. Given how long ago they flagged this change, seems a bit of a shambles.

I finally had a chance to review my account and I think the points are accounted for - would be fantastic if someone can cross check with their own account to confirm though!
  • Points earned up to 24 Nov: show up in your "Opening Balance"
  • Points earned on transactions settled from 24 Nov to 30 Nov: the base points earnt shows up in your "Earned" summary at the top but not in the points transaction history for some reason, whilst the bonus points do show up in the points transaction history and are denoted with an "ONLINE-" prefix
  • Points earned on transactions settled from 1 Dec to 14 Dec thereabouts: the online purchase itself and the bonus point for that transaction show up as separate lines in the summary. If you have multiple transactions in a day, all of the online purchases show up together, and the bonus points are in their own group above those transactions.
  • Points earned on transactions settled after 14 Dec: the transaction itself just displays with double points.
I was going to call to complain about missing points but based on what I could reconstruct, I think there's no need - that's not to say I'm happy with NAB though! Having gone through the disastrous UBank migration and destruction of the Citi debit product, I like many have suffered through a lot already...

I'm seeing the breakdown. The filter at the top defaults to December when I log in, have you changed to filter to year to date instead?

I don't think so, I think NAB is calculating correctly, in fact, better than what I expected. I think I'm ahead, NAB is behind.

1 - NAB is now giving the break down of point calculations, line by line. Citi didn't have this, Citi was a black box operation. NAB is giving us full transparency.
2 - I have noticed NAB is actually rounding up the cents when awarding points. All other credit cards I am aware of only award points up to the last dollar, ignoring cents. For example, here are a few transactions in my points page:

25-11-2025 $ 11.64 12.00
25-11-2025 ONLINE- $ 11.64 12.00
26-11-2025 $ 15.36 15.00
26-11-2025 ONLINE-$ 15.36 15.00

You can see, they round down if < 50 cents, but round up when > 50 cents . I am not aware of any other bank which rounds up.

Hence, I think we are ahead (by 1 or 2 points per transaction).

that's not to say I'm happy with NAB though!

I think NAB had redeemed themselves.

So, I hate NAB on other stuffs, like removing Singapore from awards, and some other problems I had had with NAB direct (not Citi); but to be fair this time, I'm actually happy with the improvements on this front from NAB.
