FFS people, stop calling NAB asking about fee free for life.
Someone would have made a decisions, accounts and their fees and discounts would have been loaded into the new system.
If they needed to change your pricing, they would have told you (as required legally). They cannot just take money off you out of the blue, they need to tell you that 'We are going to charge you a fee from now on'.
The more people call up NAB to ask, the more customer service staff escalate the question higher up, and all you are doing is putting yourself (and everyone else) on the radar, because all you are doing is keep reminding that commercial / pricing team equivalent that your massive discount exists and they should think about you.
It's like the speed limit is 60kmh, you just drove past a cop car at 63 kmh, so you stop, chuck a u turn, go to the cop car, knock on the window of the cop car, then ask the cop "So, I just drove past you at 63km/h. Are you gonna give me a ticket?"
Why on earth would you do that???
As a consolation prize, I am glad that some people who just hit the panic button are cancelling. If someone hits the panic button over every little thing, then maybe they should just re-adjust the financial products they obtain. Don't ruin it for everyone else.
