Who else has to regularly chase up Qantas for points & status credits owed....

There was another thread about this recently, lots of people having similar issues. QF claim it's all fixed now but not sure I believe it.

My BA flights did finally get added after emailing QFF photos of the boarding passes but I'm still waiting on several Iberia flights (have also sent boarding passes in December as requested but they still haven't credited those).

Hi all,

Is anyone else having issues with British Airways flights crediting to Qantas?

I have never had an issue in the past with BA but seems that my 2 latest flights are talking 7+ days to credit and a flight from the 23/01 was rejected the following:

UNSUCCESSFUL - POINTS ALREADY AWARDED TO QANTAS OR OTHER FREQUENT FLYER PROGRAM

I guess I will need to reserve half a day to call them but has anyone else had a similar issue and overcome it with ease?
Presume the BP has the correct FF programme on it?
I recently had a 2 ticket QR AY journey and had asked checkin to change my QR number to BA. They changed the QR flights but I only discovered later that the AY flight still had the QR number on the BP

My BA flights normally credited in 2 days, but haven't since November. My long outstanding ones have all now been credited, but I'm not sure if this was due to a QF fix, or simply my submitting a missing points claim and following up.

My flights from last week haven't credited yet so I share you doubts as to whether they have actually fixed it.

The other thread you referred to where it has been discussed is this one:-

@ABC…. reading the article linked above it sounds like a BA problem so will be painful going forward.

I guess I will need to pull all my tickets etc for submission to Qantas. 🤦‍♂️

It will get fixed up without intervention IME.
All of my family’s flights from Dec and Jan were recently credited

Similar issue but in reverse.
All of my recent QF flights have taken 2 weeks minimum to post to my BAEC account

Looks like my doubts about it being fixed may have been ill founded. My BA flights from last Friday and Sunday have credited today without having to submit a claim. Whilst taking a few days longer than previously, I'd be happy if my future flights credit within a week like these recent ones.

I’m still having issues! It’s over a month now since QF FF replied saying they would review the documents. Since then two BA flights posted, two Iberia operated ones have not heard back yet.
Four Iberia flown in January didn’t post…

I'm having similar issues for 6 Iberia flights between August 2021 and November 2021, including 2 in Business. None of them posted despite all having my QFF number and OW tier printed on the boarding pass and recognised by IB.

Edit: perhaps of note, the IB bookings never appeared as upcoming trips in the Qantas app like my BA flights do.

I submitted the 'missing points claim' form for each, still showing (months later) as "This may take up to 14 days to process". Have also emailed QFF several times, sent photos of the boarding passes as requested back in December, still waiting....

4 of my Iberia flights were finally credited yesterday, however 1 of those was in Business and of course Qantas has incorrectly credited as Economy.

I already sent the boarding pass and eTicket which clearly shows it was Business, and the booking class 'C' is Business on the Partner Earning Tables, so I don't understand why they would credit as Economy?

I don't really need those Status Credits anymore now with another status extension announced but it's still infuriating that it's taken months of emails to get these missing flights added, but they still didn't credit it right...

Edit: Because this took so long and the flights were in my previous membership year, Qantas immediately removed them as 'expired status credits', but did not add them to the status credit rollover amount (they would have been included in that if credited on time). Again, I suppose it doesn't really matter now because we've been given another year extension with or without enough SC's.

Of course because they took so long, these were in my previous membership year and they credited and then expired them straight away, without adding them to the rollover amount.

I don't really need those Status Credits anymore now with the further status extension announced but it's still infuriating that it's taken months just to get this far and after all this time they still didn't get it right...
Thanks for this update. I am on the last day of three flights with IB. I’m intending to send QF a bundle of lots of paperwork in the hope of getting them posted ok.

I’ve recently had IB confirm via their contact system I boarded the planes and have sent a message asking them to please either sort out the system and or contact QF!

Sounds like it'll be a Spanish inquisition...

Sorry, how was your contact with QF before? Were the credits rejected originally or just nothing in reply? And then the credits arrived, or did they finally relent after all the documents?
Also have they acknowledged a problem at IBs end?

I also had just ten, from British airways that were later added but not to the rollover!

First attempt was completing the 'claim missing points' online form (which says it will take up to 14 business days).

When that didn't work I emailed the QFF address with photos of the boarding passes (as was suggested on here). Their response was that copies of the eTickets were also needed, so I sent them too.

After about a month of no further response I emailed asking for an update and if they needed anything else from me to process it. They replied that they were waiting for Iberia to confirm I was on the flights. So from that I assumed an issue with IB not sending that data to them?

I then emailed again in February, asking how much longer they expected this to take (as it was now 6 months since the first flight). They never replied to that email but I noticed today when checking my account that the first 4 of the missing flights had just posted together.

Hello!

Thought I would visit this post to say I hate ve had zero response from qantas. Iberia just say “we note your complaint and have passed it to Qantas”.
The itineraries don’t have the booking code.

I had sent about 40 pages of documents to Qantas and no response. So short of bumping in to some senior manager randomly and mentioning it, I have given up!

We are now at 2 weeks since some FJ domestic and a NAN-BNE flight. Will they eventually post automatically or do I have to chase them up?
One of them KDV-SUV didn't give a boarding pass. A guy had a notebook at the gate and just verbally told us where to sit.

I've also been chasing them up for some BA/Iberia flights. Submitted the claim long ago and it has just sat under review ever since. Emailed them direct last week to follow up, they requested the docs again to which I responded same day - no response.

Honestly. Can they do ANYTHING right at the moment?

Only one of my BA flights in April credited. I had to follow up and submit a claim for the other. It took about 2 months after submitting for it to be credited.
Have just completed an itinerary which included QF/AA/AY/BA flights multiple sectors. Everything credited promptly except the BA flights which haven’t shown up at all.
I don’t think this is a QFF issue there is clearly still an unresolved issue with BA IT and presumably also IB given the posts above.
I have paper boarding passes as well as electronic ones.
Will give it another week or so and submit claims.
I’ll report back the outcome.

My BA ones credited automatically when they had sorted their computer problems
Not the case with Iberia.

Someone I know put a missing claim in to BA for no IB credits and did get them

It’s infuriating that the booking confirmation doesn’t have the fare class
