which would you choose - SYD to LHR flight options

I'm torn between

SYD - HKG in J then onto LHR on CX F - burn some QF and Alaskan Air miles

SYD - BKK - HND TG F then onto LHR on ANA F - burn some united miles

Would love to try out the new CX Flounge in HK, but also don't mind the TG Flounge with a nice massage to break up the flights.

haven't tried CX or ANA F so am interested in people's experience.

From what I've read the ANA Flounge at HND is nothing to write home about, but 21 yr Hibiki is something I'd love to try.

While I'm all for trying out lounges, my priority is where I'm going to spend the most time, which is usually onboard. So take the best onboard product IMO.

For me it's a no brainer, always take the long way in F.

TG F lounge is awesome, I've recently spent 7 hours there recovering from day time F flight in one of the private rooms while waiting to board the next one

Never been to NH F lounge but 21yr Hibiki is already something to write about
