I notice some of the hotel chain vouchers explicitly state they are AU/NZ only. I also note that some imply they are fully internationally valid.

Not that the rate is dead flash, but it might be useful to know which partners offer internationally redeemable rewards.

Is anyone compiling a list? the Q webpage doesn't exactly make it easy.

Here's my take on the vouchers:

  • the Qantas Holidays Voucher have conditions of use, but can be used for worldwide holiday bookings including accommodation.

  • the Best Western voucher is usable worldwide.

  • the Marriott voucher is redeemable worldwide.

  • the Accor hotels voucher is redeemable in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

  • the Choice hotels (comfort, quality and clarion) are only usable in Australia and New Zealand.

  • the Hilton voucher is only redeemable in Australia and New Zealand.

  • the Hyatt voucher is only usable in Australia and New Zealand.

  • the Rydges voucher is distinctly unclear. I suspect its only usable in Australia.

  • the "Constellation" group voucher is only redeemable in Australia.

  • the "Rendezvous" voucher is only usable in Australia.

None of the car hire vouchers are redeemable outside Australia.

some things like the iTunes voucher are obviously globally applicable but you will wind up stuck behind the Australian iTunes licencing/costs issues compared to iTunes USA for instance.
