Hi all
I am taking a multi stop trip in December with my 16yo booked through Qantas. Perth-Sydney-Honolulu. Hon-Dallas-NYC. NYC-Berlin. Frankfurt-Doha-Perth. Despite booking with qantas, the only qf flights are to Honolulu. After that it is as the airline. AA, AB and QR
My question is lounge access. I have 2x2 complimentary passes to the qantas lounge and I also hold 2 eligable amex cards to the amex lounge. My lengthy stop overs are in Sydney, Dallas and Doha.
I'm thinking the only place I can use any of these are in Sydney. If so would it be recommended to use the qantas lounge or the amex lounge? Can we use the AA lounge in Dallas with the passes?
I have tried calling the relevant people but getting mixed responses. No one seems to really know at qantas.
Thankyou

QC passes are only valid at QF-operated lounges so best to use these in SYD.
There is an Amex lounge in DFW but only complimentary for Platinum/Centurion otherwise paid. Dont know about DOH but believe there is a paid Oryx lounge

You might look into the 1 month AA Admirals Club pass too which would help in HNL DFW and JFK. This would also admit your 16 year old

I think you are correct as far as the Qantas lounge passes. Only in Sydney, I believe.

As for the rest of you flights, might depend on your travel class also. If your flying AA F from HON-DFW-NYC-BER, you would be eligible for Admirals club in DFW & NYC, although I'm not entirely sure. Others would know. I've used Admirals club in DFW and MIA when flying AA F.

Great suggestion, but would Admirals Club membership get you into the lounge at JFK when flying Air Berlin?

As I understand it, the pass gives you access to Admirals Club regardless of carrier. It's access to Qantas Clubs that requires AA/QF flight numbers.
