Which cards have you applied for this year (2016)?

I note the window has opened for Plat Edge again for me!
*I don't pay annual fees.*
Can you add Jetstar credit to the $200 Amex travel credit or is Amex only able to be used on a Virgin flight?
Is this the best Free Amex at the moment with a bonus?

I'm not aware of a better value (ie bigger signon bonus) AMEX at the moment - and as a previous cardholder you'd know it is tough to find a better card than the Edge.

The AMEX travel credit can only be used when you book through the AMEX travel website - this is a "travel agent" like site (eg like booking through Flight Center for example) so I doubt you could use any airline credits at the same time.

Does this apply to all Amex cards? Or just some? I'm particularly thinking of the Explorer and DJ.

It does happen sometimes. But you should not necessarily expect it to happen.
