More importantly wheres your post gone!

I've had it once with the following conditions:

1) Aircraft change ;and
2) My pre-selected seat didn't exist in the new config ;and
3) The system didn't automatically move me to another seat

I ended up calling the service desk who fixed it up.

QF have two A332s offline in Perth, I would imagine there will be a few swaps in the next few days.

That flight no longer appears on the booking list, could it be it is completely full hence no seat allocations showing ?

I know EBN had the bird strike, which other 332 had the "engine problems" today quoting 6PR

How far out from departure date does priority seat allocation open up?

Dad is WP and avidly watches the seats around a week before the flight as better seats open up...

Thoughts?

Flight is not available for sale, its either 100% full or more likely being cancelled.

Note that expertflyer can't display economy class seat map of a380 with an upstairs economy section )but is fine with f, j and premium cabins). Seat selection for playinums in economy class does allow for upstairs a380 selection

Looks like a pretty full flight, only waitlist available;

QF 642 JL CL DL IL YL BL HL KL ML LL GL

Wednesday's 642 was eventually operated by a 763 VH-OGU.

FWIW, today's QF581 operated by VH-OJU (new 388 style seating) - I hope they are able to rationalise Lavatory usage ...
