I'm travelling on QF11 from Syd to LAX on 17th March. Has anyone flown this flight on the refurbed A380? i am wondering which routes they are doing now? Thank you.

It's just the luck of the draw right now. It's not the case that for instance refurbished birds just do LA & DFW flights while non-refurbished do London - they just get allocated to routes in the same way as always. Qantas' flight planning people don't give any consideration about whether it's been done or not when allocating.

I did QF11 in premium economy on Boxing Day and I could not sleep in the new seat. Conversely I got 8 hour sleep on the way back in the old seat. I found my seat changed to a refurbished one 10 days out but then back again briefly about a...

Hello all.

I've just noticed today that my two QF35 bookings in April - the 9th and 23rd - have both had an aircraft change this morning - they are now on the Dreamliner. Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere but do we think this is related to the A380 refurbs?
