Perth....Chez Pierre and Bistro des Artistes are pretty reasonable.
Hyatt Cafe tonight as it is my turn to cook if we stay home. 2 Club at the Hyatt cards halves the meal cost for the four of us.

Unfortunately (via my laptop) I'm seeing the QF128 iPhone Flightaware rather than the Ecco meals - a pity, as I used to dine there a bit (as I lived in nearby apartment towers) and cooking wasn't my forte in my "single" days (between wives).

Brisbane - I've been to Restaurant Two this year, as well as a couple near my work in Fortitude Valley (best has been Bucci).

The Queens Arms Hotel [just up the road] does a killer lunch, was there a couple of weeks ago but was disappointed by the pork belly, waaay too much fat and the skin hadn't been rendered properly.

Will have to hunt through the iPhone to see if I have any photo retained...

Recently at Ortolana. Auckland. VERY impressed. Most if not all the produce comes from their own farm.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner, not the usuall fare. We thought the prices were reasonable too.

Need to update your app.

....

I see 3 pix of bottles.
I see 3 identical photos of Kalleske Barossa Valley Shiraz. I am not using an app. I am using Windows Explorer.

On my Samsung S3 I see 3 identical photos of some baggage carousels and appears to be somewhere in Asia where Emirates flies. Again not using an app.

using Firefox on Win7 I see the baggage carousels as well.

Interesting, my view has now changed to the baggage carousels in boomy's post #22. Still would love to see the Ecco meal :(

Not you JohnK. ;)

I already updated to iOS 7.1.1 on Saturday, so the attachment problem is not related to any software updates this time.

Brisbane - loving Fat Noodle st Treasury Casino. Owned by Luke Nguyen - best laksa i have ever had, amazing pho too. Don't be put off by the fact that it is in the casino building.

Brisbane - Miel Container on Mary St.
Great burgers with interesting topping options like fried eggplant and double cream Brie... Yummy!

Yep, i love it there. The Korean beef bulgolgi burger is delicious.

• Mr. Wong - the owners of Ms. G's opened a more upmarket Cantonese restaurant in the CBD. Very nice décor and good wine list. This place is very popular so better get there early.

Sydney
  • Mr. Wong - friends took us Friday night. We arrived around 9.30pm and the place (both floors) was chock-a-block. Excellent!
  • Quay - Friday lunch, tasting menu with matching wines. Excellent!
  • Rockpool (Bridge Street) - Saturday evening - tasting menu with matching wines. Long time fan of his original location but this new location (pitch black decor) and change to menu is a fail IMHO :(

Gold Coast
  • Fellini - nice Italian knocking out great flavours
  • Benihana - Teppanyaki, terrific produce served with full on fun

Noosa
  • Wasabi - Great spot to spend a Sunday afternoon

I've been there again last Monday. We arrived at 8.30pm and had to wait 10 minutes for a seat! It was well worth it :)
