It looks very familiar but there a lot of Scottish Roads that look like that - is it up past Durness (near Chocolate Mountain which I still remember with fondness)
Close but 120 miles too far north.

I’ll have to check the exact location from my archives on Monday!
was it here ?
Glen Docherty lookout.
Must admit I cheated. Skye was the furthest north we went up the west coast.
It does look very much like that - maybe he doesn't really know and is just trying to get us to jog his memory

Easy one.
There was a historiographical tradition claiming that xx_ himself adopted both the flag and the patron saint from this republic at some point during his crusade. This idea can be traced a "common belief", and it is still popularly repeated today even though it cannot be substantiated as historical.

I do believe I mentioned Torridon and it's only 13.5 miles from there so I'm having that one ;)

I was just looking at all my Scotland photos and sighing loudly
You must remember this
A kiss is just a kiss
A sigh is just a sigh
The fundamental things apply…

No Jack Daniels drinkers on here...
The door leads to the Squires Room, which is a Jack Daniels VIP Club that you have to be invited to join. In the room is more memorabilia and a large comfy couch and chairs so members can hang out and talk. You also get a gift for visiting.
It is located at the Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, USA.
Anyone can do the distillery tour and visit the museum bit.

where are we. There was a massacre in this area in February 13, 1692 which was the historical precedent for the Red Wedding episode of GOT.
