When will the good deal for business for next march April appear. Particularly Emirates, as we will be going to Newcastle in UK.

I would expect the specials for March/April 2010 would be released around October/November this year.

Considering for Australia to LAX fares are on sale until November with these sub $1000~ deals, surely by August they would release some Feb/March fares? VA have dropped their 2010 fares to $1200~ within the last day, so it does look promising.

Isn't February usually a quiet time for Travel to the states?

February is generally low season for travel within Oz and Oz to/from overseas.

I'm keeping an look out for late Jan and early March as well.

I see MEL-LAX RT is now down to $870 with Qantas until the end of November.

According to this article they may not be worth bothering about anyway.

I was thinking that by 2010 airlines may have their capacity more inline with demand. Early 2009 definately caught out by the swift slowdown and had to fill seats at lower prices. By 2010 they have the option to optimise schedules and reduce discounting.

I'm looking for 4 fares to US for early April.

Don't forget Good Friday will be on 02 April next year. Smack in the middle of the time you are asking about.

Doubt if there will be any cheap fares around that time.

Excellent point. School holidays overlap as well. I guess I'll be limited for choice.
