Does Qantas ever do the Double Status Points offer again later in the year?

They have been known to offer a 50% SC bonus as a targetted offer to selected people on specific routes/locations.

It has been rumoured but never confirmed that a search for a trip while logged in may occasionally be the catalyst for an offer to be sent.

Last year there was a targeted (i.e. not open to everyone) DSC offer in September.

They have been known to offer a 50% SC bonus as a targetted offer to selected people on specific routes/locations.
Mrs C received a targetted 50% DSC offer this morning:

....We're offering you 50% bonus Status Credits* when you fly on any eligible flight^ with a QF flight number......

......Simply register, remember to include your Qantas Frequent Flyer number when you book, and you'll earn the 50% bonus Status Credits on:
All new bookings made between 13 April 2018 and 20 April 2018
For travel between 13 April 2018 and 12 July 2018
Currently WP, her membership month is July. No-one else in our household received the offer and she's just on the cusp of hitting SG this week..

I received the same 50% promo offer this morning. My year ends April, already WP and not interested in trying for P1 as way too many SCs needed.
