When are points deducted for classic reward seat not Qantas but via Qantas

Just booked a Cathay rewards seat through the Qantas call centre.
The $70 credit card fee has come through
The booking is on the FF
However neither cost points have been deducted nor have taxes.
How long do they usually take ?
I am used to upgrade points being deducted immediately albeit that is Qantas for Qantas

The points generally get deducted upon ticketing.

Until you have that 081- reference it's not ticketed.
