Hi Guys,

I'm looking at purchasing a flight to LAX departing around the 1st of Dec 2014 and returning on the 11th, and was wondering when these flights actually go on sale with Virgin?

I called Qantas and they gave me the time of 353 days prior, but Virgin said that their's go on sale when the month starts, but seeing as they haven't got their November 2014 flights up yet, I don't think that's correct.

Also, I presume this is correct but would like to double check.

If I were booking with Qantas, I'd have to book 353 days prior to the return flight, not the departing flight, yes?

Thanks

Welcome to AFF Tegore.

As you mention, QF is 353 days. That's from the date of the flight so if you want to book your return, you need to wait until 353 prior to the return date yes.

I was under the belief that VA were the same. As of time of typing this, it is 330 days (October 22nd next year). Perhaps it is 330 days.
