2012

have patience with whatever situation when travelling that goes wrong, and since there is a 6 week Europe trip witih 7 of us in the group and i've planned ALL the accommodation and flights etc i'm sure something will go wrong, but I hope I can fix it.

Retain my status match Velocity Gold, they have been excellent, and with my trip and SA coming onboard with Virgin I will requalify easily for gold this year and might make plat for the first time!

Try to get that last leg of the return trip from Paris via Singers in J class upgraded to first class for the trip back into Syd, want to fly first class once in my life!

no matter who sits next to me on any flight I shall be polite and pleasant to them, even when they have two screaming children on their laps for the trip, I now carry ear plugs and a noise cancelling set of travel headphones courtesy of that last trip. I shall try to remember that the parents are having an even worse time than I am and at least I can get off the plane and leave it all behind, smiling serenely and saying no its all just fine to them is good karma.

remember to charge up my Kobo reader BEFORE every flight.

and I shall smile at all the grumpy FA's and wish them a nice day, karma again.

happy travelling everyone, enjoy the ride.
