To make QFWP for the first time. Having made QFSG 7 days into my qualification year, I believe I'm on track.

Also, to hit 2000SC and get all 4 lots of loyalty bonuses before rules change in July and only SC's earned on QF flights count towards loyalty bonus.

And, if possible, hit 2400SC in the qualification year.

1. To make Plat with VA which I should do by about early April
2. Go on an A380 (June)
3. Snap up another shop and earn offer to give me lots more points
4. Healthy travel..haven't had a great run the last few months

1. To get my sorry backside off NB status
2. Make a TSV or ASP flight
3. Perhaps a SIN trip
4. Just to sit back and enjoy flying in 2013.

1- suite saver to somewhere. Probably SYD-SIN.
2- AA reward flight to somewhere.

Both preferably in F for the first time but unlikely given it will be +1.

3- commit to getting through the USDM thread and possibly add another FF program to the mix!
4- get into the hotel forums as much as I've spent on the airlines. If the enjoyment and learning is even 1/2 as good it will be time well spent.

I'd love to get to India but doubt it'll happen this year unfortunately.

No! It will be more than likely either Nok Air or Bangkok Airways back to Chiang Mai.

O/T - having flown Jetstar dom in Aus and recently doing CNX-UNX and UNX-BKK with Bangkok Airways, I would not class them as an LCC or in any way like Jetstar. We received meals on the flights (around lunch time), incl. a child's meal for Little Miss 6. Also little refresher towels before takeoff. And we didn't have to pay for the TV shows (tho not personal like in JQ1 SYD-MEL in Dec).
Our QF flights to/from SYD on the way to BKK had less impressive food options, though they were morning tea/afternoon tea timing, so bikkies only.

I wasn't sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised.

But both flights were delayed ... and the staff kept apologising for this. CNX-UNX was 10 mins late.
UNX-BKK was originally 10 mins late; I think it ended up leaving a bit later. But waiting in Ko Samui was fine with the free wifi and complimentary snacks for all pax. VIPs seem to get air con. :)

So I hope when/if you try them out, they are surprisingly pleasant.

My concern with Bangkok Airways is their baggage allowance including golf clubs. The baggage allowance I believe is one piece <20kgs and if you go over they start discussing on website paying a percentage of the highest economy airfare on the day for any excess luggage.

It is not that easy for me to understand but must make sure I leave luggage at Chubb storage in Suvarnabhumi for 4-5 days and take golf clubs <20kg as checked luggage and have my clothes for 4-5 days playing golf and going out at night in carry-on bag. Not easy for me to do.

Something to decide later as I am not likely to go back to Chiang Mai until April even though someone wants me there earlier.

Ahh, yes, I see now. I had the same worries as our first time since Little Miss was 18mths old flying an airline without status/with luggage restrictions and wanting to do some shopping. We left Aus with 3 suitcases @ ~50kg and left CNX with ~61kg. I was fretting about excess luggage charges (paid EUR200 for Little Miss's suitcase with LH when she was 18mths, as she didn't have a seat/luggage allowance), and bought nothing in Ko Samui.
I managed to stay close to our luggage allowance, and we didn't have golf clubs or anything similar. I will try to check with family to see what their luggage experience has been UNX-BKK with PG (if they have gone over).
