I travelled through the US last year, the last time I'll be doing so for at least the next four years, but I digress. During that trip, I took a few American Airlines flights. In every case, my Qantas Frequent Flyer points were credited within hours, sometimes even minutes, of landing.
Back home, I fly Jetstar monthly. Yet I rarely see my points unless I specifically chase them. If they haven’t appeared within two weeks (they usually don’t), I have to remind myself to manually submit a claim, often three or four weeks after the flight. I eventually see them but whay does it have to be so hard?
How is it that a partner airline operating thousands of kilometres away can deliver on the QFF promise effortlessly, while the local sister, consistently fails to do so?
