Will be transiting HKG a few times next few months all on J but different *A carriers. (Bye bye QF!) Used to use CX lounges so not sure what lounges available and which best to spend a few hrs

Looks like experience with HKG is limited here in AFF.

Maybe check out FT.

The SQ lounge is probably best for food, but no views. Good range of chinese dim sum and other items.

The TG lounge is good for views but food is not the best.

i think there is a UA lounge but not been there. probably just stick with the SQ lounge unless your are flying TG... where the TG lounge is right near the departure gate.

I only have been to two there: SQ SilverKris and CA CNAC VIP Lounge. The latter one is awful.

The SQ lounge does not have bathrooms or shower facilities. CX have several good lounges. The one near Gate 2 has the best food if you like traditional dim sum type food. Other CX lounges on the Pier are quiet and have good shower facilities. If you are lucky to be able to score entrance to the First Class CX lounge in the Pier, they have a restaurant with waiter service and lovely private rooms with recliner chairs to relax in.

Cannot see access being granted to any CX lounge given the question is about *alliance lounges, indicating a flight on said alliance.
