Have about 10,567 KrisFlyer points that expire in December.
Not enough to fly?
Will not be flying before then.
Only option is to take the hit and convert to velocity 7k points to keep alive?

You can pay a small fee on the KF site to extend them for another 6 months. It depends on whether you would be flying soon or not.

Transfer some from Amex? One way economy awards to Asia are good value.

Why not transfer them to VA? You lose about 30% (or is it 35%), but if you don't have any travel plans, it is better than letting them expire.

Is there a possibility to earn another 433 KrisFlyer miles before they expire? You can book a one-way Virgin Australia flight on any Australian domestic route outside of WA and NT for 11,000 miles.
