10 per hour (or 1 every 6 minutes for those mathematically challenged) is a terribly, terribly slow rate even if there were "staffing restrictions". I suspect the info may be slightly incorrect tbh - an arrival rate of 6 mins/360 secs is just ludicrous, even when short staffed.

Brisbane's low visibility acceptance rate is 12 per hour or as negotiated.

Certainly a fine clear morning with great visibility ... BUT certainly no aircrew input from approach until after touchdown. The pilot certainly called it an autoland and they had to arrange permission from ATC.

Autoland and low vis procedures are related, but different, animals. I've been flying aircraft capable of Cat III auto landings for the last 30 years, and have done many in conditions ranging from a lovely day, to thick fog. Sadly Australia is decades behind the rest of the world, and has only just had the first Cat II/III installations appear.

But, we've always been able to do autolands in Oz in conditions of no less than Cat I....
