What is the Check in procedure for QF 107 as domestic flight?

Hi all,

Arrived in US 2 days ago on QF11 SYD-LAX. Tomorrow we fly out on QF 107 LAX to NYC. QF site is not very clear on departure information so feedback from someone that has done this NOT as a transfer would be helpful. Can anyone please confirm:
Departure is from TBI terminal?
Check in at QF international counter?
Do we have to go through customs/immigration?
I am QF Gold, is there lounge access. Which lounge and where?
