We watched a Stanley Tucci series recently where he travels in Italy exploring food.
One episode featured the Dolomites, originally after Rally Greece, Imwanted to go back to Albania, but given the temperatures, I thought heading into the mountains between Italy and Austria would be better.
This episode featured restaurants serving traditional Landin food. One was Plazores, so intriged by this with wanted to try it. Not disappointed!
We had the cheese platter to start, Imhad the ravioli and swmbo had the traditional potatoes and ox in a frypan with cabbage.
The cheese came with nuts in dandilion honey, and 2 sorts of apricot preserve. Subtle flavours, looked small, but was more than enough.
1/2 litre of red wine from Weingut Ritterhof.
