After a long day trying to keep up with Miss H on the slopes I decided to treat myself for dinner.

In an unfamiliar kitchen I was pretty happy with the results.

Ribeye medium rare with garlic mushrooms, grilled brussels sprouts, sweet potato chips and salad.

Oh, and a nice Canadian red! (Yes, there is such a thing).

Our afternoon meal today at Bocca Bokarina. Only decided to go this morning so ate at 4pm.

As usual we started with truffled mushrooms and grilled eggplant. I nearly forgot a photo.
IMG_5251.jpeg

Then we shared the beef cheek. Wonderful.

Finished with our favourite desserts. Pannacotta for Mrsdrron and limoncello meringue for me.

Have our son staying with us tonight. Went to our now favourite Thai restaurant - Love You Long Thai at Dicky Beach. It was packed so service a little slower than usual which was not a problem. The food was really nice. We share all the dishes. Coconut prawns to start. There were 4 of them.
IMG_5256.jpg

Then garlic and pepper chicken, Pad Thai with prawns and a spicy pad kee mee with beef.

All dishes were shared with basically 7 adults. I loved the tastes and a great place for a larger group.
We wouldn’t go back as Mrsdrron doesn’t like any spicy foods. Even seeing chilli as decorative add on puts her off.
But if you love spicy their sauces are great so a recommendation but it’s a bit pricey.
