The food is in the previous post. We always dine at Nara at least once on our visits.
 
Tonight at the Living Room at the SGS Bangkok. First the complimentary canapes. I ate the money bag before remembering the photo.

Lunch presentation @ Sake Restaurant (45 Eagle Street, Brisbane CBD). Absolutely superb and no hurry, as presentation was 100 slides.

A few of the courses at today's Singapore lunch at Whitegrass.

We had separate menus.Mrsdrron the 4 course and I the 5 course and splurged on the premium Waygu. My appetizer was tuna and mrsdrron salmon. She enjoyed hers mine was perfection.

My next course was Hokkaido scallops with asparagus. Wonderful.

My extra course was Red Amadai tilefish. Another brilliant dish which had absolutely crispy skin but moist wonderful flesh.

Then the mains. Mrsdrron had the French poulet with langoustines. Very nice.

Whilst I had the waygu beef. so tender and full of flavour.

And a complimentary Yuzu liquer.

So less than half the price of Odette with a bottle of wine. Total $S475 v $S1087.
The good thing is that the whole table does not have to have the same menu. Also lots of wines by the glass which we will do on our next visit.
 
Barchetta restaurant @ North Cottesloe beach, WA. PERfection PERsonified with a beautiful fine day, sitting outside on the balcony listening to the crashing small waves and watching the bulk container and cargo ships sitting out to sea, waiting to dock at Freemantle Harbour - or the ones steaming west out to the wild blue yonder
