Good morning,
Have just found out that the Harbour Rocks Hotel Sydney is leaving the All group 1st Feb 2023.
I already have a booking for Saturday 10th Feb- ( a Saturday night before our cruise ) which i used my All Plus stay night for.
At the time of booking- there was no mention of it leaving the group. Even today, you can still make new bookings after Feb 2023, and unless you click on the Hotel Information tab under the hotel description " This hotel will leave the Accor network on 1 February 2024." you can easily miss this.
I called All this morning and they eventually could see this same message, and assured me that my stay will still be honoured.
I then called the hotel, and was told that all future booked guests would receive an email about the change by Jan 2024, but there would be no Diamond Membership benefits after 1st Feb, which at this hotel, free breakfast and minibar. Which at the end of the day, i'd forgo those, as long as my booking is honoured.
Since i used my A+ stay benefit, its nearly impossible to find a room this close to the date especially on a Saturday night.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation ?
I would really like to think that my stay will be honoured sans Diamond benefits.

Once they leave, that is generally the end of.any benefits etc. but usually the booking remains.

That's a shame, Tayim was one of the better options in Sydney for the Accor Plus dining discount.

One question you should consider is whether you might find a better hotel using that free night stay with Accor? For instance, I suspect that the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour would be a better option in terms of location, amenities and how they treat us with elite status (i.e. Platinums and Diamonds have access to the Executive lounge). Now it may be that the hotel is not available during that date (something you can check using the Accor StayPlus availability thread), but I would think there would still be alternates to stay at which provide better amenities and will honour your status - I'll leave that discussion up to others in the forum since my stays in Sydney CBD have been limited to the ibis Darling Harbour and ibis Barangaroo.

It’s hard enough to find a Saturday night in Sydney to use the stay plus let alone 6 weeks out.
The hotel emailed me on Friday afternoon, basically saying if youve used any points to pay for a stay after the 1st February, it won’t be honoured. Says nothing about stay plus.
Called All, and was basically told too bad so sad by the first agent. Asked to escalate to their supervisor. After a further 20 mins on hold, did speak to a supervisor. They seemed pretty sympathetic but couldn’t help at all on the phone, but could only email other hotel managers to see if they could move my booking.
The whole reason we picked that area, was to board the ship the next day.
There is availability at both the Pullman ( that’s where ere staying when our cruise ship returns ) and Sebel in the area.
I also email Sarah Derry, CEO of All Australia to see if they could help out.
Just seems like a little switch and bait, I’ve paid for the All + membership and have basically “paid “ for the room. Up front.
