Flying on QF608 and QF625 on the 23rd of June it tells me that these are the 737-800(winglets) but are these the Next Gen planes? Would be appreciated if you could let me know how to figure this out for myself for future reference. Many thanks guys!

Flying MEL - SYD on 31st May on QF420 and SYD - MEL on QF487 will I be flying in a Next Generation 737-800? Would be appreciated if you could let me know how to figure this out for myself for future reference. Many thanks guys!

QF420 on 31MAY is showing as 763
QF487 on 31MAY is showing as 332

If you go to manage my booking you can click on the flight number and that will tell you which aircraft you are on. Don't forget that domestic aircraft swaps are very common and you are not sure which plane you are on till you are actually on it :D

OMG I am a dummy... the flights I wanted to know about were:

I don't know if there is a way to tell (unless you have inside sources) as the seat configuration is the same as the older 738's

The 738NG aircraft are the ones with the sky interior,as far as I am aware QF doesn't have any of these on domestic routes yet, they have taken delivery of two 737 800's recently (VH-VZL and VZM) but these are not NG aircraft, they do have avod however.QF domestic won't be getting any NG aircraft until later this year (At least that is my understanding,if anyone has other information I'm happy to be corrected).
Cheers

Edited to add: Just checked with a friend who is very knowledgeable on these things and he reckons the two recently delivered 738's can technically be classed
as NG's even though they don't have the sky interior, however you would need to be flying on either VH-VZL or VZM to be on a Next Generation 737,QF has
34 NG's on order to be delivered between now and 2013.
Hope this helps.
